Laryssa Husiak
Laryssa Husiak is an actor, writer and performance artist. She is a member of the Obie award winning Theater of a Two-Headed Calf and co-creator of The Dyke Division's Room for Cream - a live lesbian soap opera, which enjoyed three seasons at La Mama. Other favorite productions include: Two-Headed Calf's Trifles (Ontological), Nick Brooke's Border Towns (HERE), Taylor Mac's Red Tide Blooming (PS122) and art installation collaborations with artist Jonathan Van Dyke. Her solo work has been performed throughout the city at venues such as Dixon Place, HERE, La Mama and at a variety of late-night haunts. In February 2012, Laryssa will perform Two-Headed Calf's latest production, a chamber opera entitled, You, My Mother, as part of La Mama's 50th Anniversary Season.
